This website is operated by Rachael Mortimer a children’s author based in the UK. You can contact me via my contact page with any questions about this privacy notice.

I collect names, email addresses and any message content provided in the contact form

3.     How I use your information

I collect contact details to respond to your enquiries about events and visits. If you sign up to my newsletter I use you email address only to send you updates about my books and events based on your consent.

4.     How long I keep your data

I keep contact form messages for up to 12 months. Newsletter subscriber details are kept until you unsubscribe.

5.     Who I share data with

I use Squarespace to manage my newsletter mailing list. Your data may be stored on their servers, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

6.     Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you at any time. You can also withdraw your consent t receive newsletters by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.

7.     Security

I take reasonable steps to keep your information secure. Some service providers may store data outside the UK or EU but are committed to GDPR-equivalent protections
